Ok, so here they are. Other than the obvious issues of clarity and focus, what do you see? I felt like my composition was pretty good in most photos...a few I would've done differently. I really felt like I was struggling with my pp with this session. Kyla's face came out red in so many photos and I had to desaturate on most of her photos. Are there any pics I over sharpened? I tried not to over compensate for the lack of clarity. Feel free to rip these apart. I'm already disappointed in them. I'm doing a shoot tomorrow morning for Addie's 7 month update and Crista's 4 year old portraits. I'm hoping to have better luck with those. Andi (from the photowalk) is going to help me :-)
I see what you mean. It's weird because in some ways they are perfectly clear..but then one thing will be kind of funky. Like it's totally in focus and you're doing everything right but the lens is weird. I think you should have it looked at.
ReplyDeleteI really think everything else is good. I had a lot of trouble with the red in the skin too. I think your PP came off much better than mine. Your skin tones look great. I really think you did a great job. I think even with the lens issue they are good. Your comp is good, your lighting is good. The colors are perfection.
I don't really see any over sharpening. The first picture, I can tell you sharpened the eyes on the girls but only because of the lens issue. I really think your PP is spot on.
Don't be hard on yourself. YOU did great, you can't help it if the lens had an issue.
