I need you.....

My first attempt at newborn photography.  I think my skin tones are all over the place.  How in the world do those professionals get that beautiful, consistent skin tones?!?!  Please tell me what you think.  I've got many  more to edit from this shoot but wanted to give the Mom & Dad a sneak peek.  Any CC would be great!!!  And just so you know, the shot with him resting on his arms...nearly impossible to get.  I REALLY wanted to try that pose, but that's the best I could get.  Seriously, who would've thought posing a newborn would be so tricky?!?!

Skin tone didn't look so bad in photoshop, but wow he needs some color!  I think I took out TOO much red!

Color or B&W?

  1. First of all they are GREAT! I emailed my brother a pullback set up of that newborn shot you were talking about...I'll email it to you too.

My favorite are the bottom two...I really like the black and white versions. They are stunning. Actually, the bottom is my fav in color and bw. Love it. Your skin tones look really good there to me. I do see what you mean, the tones are not consistent in the pictures. To me the ones that look the most natural is #2,5 and 8. #6 looks a little pink to me.

I think you did a great job!

  2. Oh, I forgot...I know you have been worried about sharpness. I think they look crystal clear!
